About the event

Childhood Apraxia Of Speech (CAS)

INTENSIVE PROGRAM

A high-frequency, research-backed pathway to clearer speech and growing confidence.

At the end of the program, families feel;

✔ Informed

Understanding CAS, therapy and progress

✔ Confident

Knowing exactly how to help at home

✔ Supported

Connected to clinicians and community

✔ Empowered

Able to advocate for their child across environments

Watch your child’s words become clearer, stronger, and more automatic as their confidence grows and they connect more easily with the world around them. Our clinicians use the most effective and internationally recognised therapy approaches for CAS, including DTTC, Nuffield and REST. Sessions are delivered by senior clinicians with advanced training in motor speech disorders and a strong record of meaningful outcomes for children with CAS.

Intensive, high-frequency therapy accelerates progress by giving children the repetitions, cueing, and motor learning conditions they need to achieve clearer speech sooner with long-lasting results. Families are supported every step of the way with simple visual toolkits, personalised home practice routines, video demonstrations, coaching, and two CAS-focused webinars. You’ll always know exactly what to do next and why it matters.

Program Structure

Intervention is delivered in structured blocks, with the understanding that some children may require multiple blocks of intervention to support ongoing progress.

2 x Weekly sessions for 10 weeks

High-frequency therapy to drive motor learning and build accuracy and consistency.

2 Week Consolidation Phase

A planned break to allow motor learning stability and enhance carryover. During this phase you’ll receive:

  • 1 x Planning & Review Meeting - that focuses on collaborative goal-setting, progress review and tailored next steps for your child.

  • 2 x CAS Parent Webinars

Delivered by senior clinician’s through SMART Spot’s online learning platform.

This webinar series gives parents a clear, evidence-informed understanding of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) and practical strategies to support their child at home, school and in the community.

When families understand CAS and feel confident supporting practice at home, children thrive. Our team is committed to equipping you with everything you need for your child’s success.
