Emma Samson
Speech Pathologist

Emma is a knowledgeable clinician, with experience supporting clients across the lifespan in regional
and rural spaces. Neurodiversity affirming values are at the forefront of Emma’s practice, as she is
committed to lifelong learning in this area, especially from the community themselves. Emma
acknowledges that clients and their loved ones are at the heart of therapy and she endeavours to
facilitate client-led sessions, where interests and practicality underpin every goal.
With experience in sensory regulation, Emma uses movement and a multisensory approach to
support clients and their families to step into their optimal learning zone, which occurs once
emotional and sensory regulation is achieved.
Emma has a keen interest in supporting early language clients through functional, play-based
therapy to find how they want to engage and explore the world the world around them. It is
fundamental that parents feel supported and heard in this process, too, but most importantly – that
they have fun and join in the play, too!
